A lender decides
If a lender approves you, it contacts you with an offer. You choose whether to take it.
What you will need
Your latest loan statement has most of what the application asks.
- Your current loan
- Who the loan is with, your monthly payment and about how much you still owe.
- Your car
- Year, make, model and mileage. The VIN is optional.
- Income and work
- So a lender can see that a payment fits your budget.
- Where you live
- Your address and how long you have lived there.
- Social Security number
- A lender needs it to check your credit. We encrypt it, and we delete the full number from our systems 30 days after your application is sent.

Are you a lender?
No. EZ Auto Refi is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. We send your application to our lending partners, and a lender reviews it and decides whether to make you an offer, and on what terms.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Applying is free, and we never ask for a payment to apply.
Will refinancing always lower my payment?
Not always. The lender sets the rate and the term. A lower payment that comes from a longer term can mean paying more interest overall, so read any offer before you accept it.
Why do you need my Social Security number?
A lender needs it to check your credit. We encrypt it, and we delete the full number from our systems 30 days after your application is sent. See our privacy policy.
